WORKSHOP CARDS

I have a Stampin Up Workshop this week and these are the two cards we are going to make.

The first one features the Hostess Level 1 set 'Because I Care". I will be teaching the Poppin Pastels technique on this card, and using the Big Shot with the Top Note Die and the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder.

Card Supplies:

Stamps: SU Because I Care, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Night of Navy, Very Vanilla
Ink: Versamark, Not Quite Navy
Accessories: SU Pastel Chalks, Veramark, Sponge Daubers, Top Note Die, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Baja Breeze Seam Binding, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch

The second card will be the first one we make...(sorry uploaded my pictures backwards). It is a simple one-layered card using the FREE Sale-a-bration set BLISS. The flourish is stamped in Blushing Bride and the butterfly in Concord Crush. We also will be using the Framed Tulips Embossing folder and then sponging the edges in Blushing Bride. I received inspiration for this card from the gallery at the Stampin Up website.

ANOTHER MOJO CHALLENGE CARD

I made this card for this weeks MOJO MONDAY CHALLENGE #182.

The SU Love Letter DSP is the background panel, the Cherry Cobbler panel was embossed with the Finial Press Embossing folder and the Big Shot and sponged. I punched out the 2.5 " circle and stamped it with the sentiment from the hostess set 'Occasional Quotes', and the flower is from the "Nature Walk" stamp set and was inked up with markers. I popped up the circle onto dimensionals.

The ribbons was ruffled and I added a few pearls for a little more elegance.

INSPIRATION CHALLENGE

It is a very dreary rainy day today in Southern Ontario. A good day to head to the craft room. I checked out the INSPIRATION CHALLENGE over at Splitcoaststampers and was inspired by the flowers on this bowl HERE.

I used Baja Breeze Cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder. I used Blushing Bride DSP from the Hostess Paper Pack. I also used my new Clearlit Scalloped Rectangle Die and Baja Breeze Seam Binding from Stampin Up. I chose the flower from the Sweet Summer Stamp set which you can earn for FREE right now during the SALE-A-Bration event.

This card came together rather quickly and I am pleased with how soft and springy it looks.

Card Supplies:

Stamps: SU Sweet Summer
Paper: Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Blushing Bride from In Color Paper Pack
Ink: Black Staz-on, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride
Accessories: Big Shot, Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, Scalloped Rectangle Clearlit, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Blender Pen, Baja Breeze Seam Binding

SALE-A-BRATION STAMP SETS

I was just playing around last night with two of the SALE-A-BRATION stamp sets.

This first card uses the SWEET SUMMER set and chalks and blender pen to color in the images. The bird is stamped twice and cut out and popped up. I used the Peach Parfait DSP from the Hostess Level One in the Idea Book and Catalogue.

This second card uses the PUNCH BUNCH stamp set. The owl was stamped and Punched out with the cordinating Owl Punch. The sentiment. "True Friend" is also from this set and was stamped and punched out and popped up on dimensionals. I also used my new Spiral Border Punch and Tulip Embossing Folder to create the pretty decorative edge.

SEEING SPOTS

I haven't had a chance to play along with a challenge in so long. Today's WAYS TO USE IT challenge over at Splitcoaststampers was to use Polka Dots on our card. I also incorporated this weeks COLOR CHALLENGE to use Marine Mist, Certainly Celery & Rose Red. I chose Early Expresso as my Neutral color.

I used different sizes of my Stampin Up Punches to punch out different colored circles...attatched them to my Early Expresso card base then ran it through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

I added a little bit of Early Expresso Satin Ribbon and stamped and punched out the image from the Punch Bunch stamp set that you can receive FREE with a $60.00 purchase during our Sale-A-Bration event that runs through till the end of March. To book a workshop or place an order contact me HERE.
