Isn't this flower the cutest? I made it with my new EK Success Carnation Dimensional Flower Punch. I made it in the colors for today's COLOR CHALLENGE over at Splitcoaststampers which were, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade.
I made this card for FOUR Challenges from this week. I haven't done that it in ages.
~ WT351 WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE at Splitcoaststampers which was Faux Letterpress. I inked up the flat side of the Snow Dots embossing folder with Cherry cobbler ink then ran it through to emboss. This inked up the background and left the raised embossed images the original color.
I made this card today using the SKETCH CHALLENGE & this weeks COLOR CHALLENGE from Splitcoaststampers. The colors this week are Pear Pizzazz, Kraft and White. A very clean and crisp combo.
I used the Faith In Nature stamp set and stamped the pear twice on watercolor paper and once on Whisper White. I watercolored the pear with my markers and aquapainter then cut it out and popped it up on dimensionals after curling the edges inward. I then used Crystal Effects to give the pear a glaze and added some dazzling details.
I made this card for my Nephew and his wife's first Anniversary. They had a vintage/ button themed wedding with Button Bouquet's ... it was really cool. I saved a few wedding favors to use on their card. The Buttons, Netting and Ribbon are from her wedding day.
I also used today's SKETCH CHALLENGE from Splitcoaststampers.
Here is a close up of the sentiment. I also added some pearls since she wore them on her wedding day as well.
I forgot how much I love the color River Rock. I used it as my card base, then added some Well Worn DSP from SU that matched the colors perfectly. I added the newsprint as the small layer of butterfly.
I left off a sentiment and will add it later...this will probably be an anniversary card.
I also used some retired SU Hodgepodge hardware for my ribbon accent and the Butterfly center.

I needed an Anniversary card so I used the colors from today's COLOR CHALLENGE over at Splitcoaststampers which was More Mustard, Always Artichoke & Bravo Burgundy. I also used the sketch from this weeks MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE.

I heat embossed the images with the Pewter embossing powder from the Holiday Mini Catty. I then colored in the images using a regular HB pencil. I used the eraser to add some highlights and a little bit of a pink and green pencil crayon just to add a bit of interest. It looks much better in real life.

This card is for my parents Anniversary in October. I used the COLOR CHALLENGE over at SCS which was Early Expresso, Cherry Cobbler and Pool Party. I really liked these colors together. This card measures 8" x 5.5".
I added some of the sparkle to my flowers....it shows up a little better in the close up.

I made this card using the new Triple Treat Flower, which is a single stamp from the new Idea Book & Catalog. The flower was stamped three times, punched out and layered up. I also added some of the new Dazzling Details and Velvet Ribbon from the Holiday Mini Catalog.
I have so many Anniversary cards to send out in the fall. So I added one to my stash today.
I used the TRY A NEW TECHNIQUE CHALLENGE over at SCS. It was to Alter Designer Series Paper....I used mine in a new way for me and made one of these Lolly Flowers that I am seeing all over the place. I also used the DSP as the main panel on my card...which again is something I rarely do.
